Rememberance Day

In Flanders fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

John McCrae (1872-1918)

Yipee! No work today !!!

I didn't get to go anywhere special today. Originally, I was planning to go into Waterloo to take care of OSAP, courses, etc. but my plans were changed. It has been really tough. My dad and I went back to our old house to fix the shingles on the roof. I had gone on Saturday too but it was not finished then. It wasn't a good day today because while we were about to finish our work, it started to rain and we still had to continue working =(..

I'm just so tired today and every other day. I was also planning to devote some time to studying because I havn't done anything lately. However, because my dad needed my help I went along. It was "back breaking" but I survived.
