I felt very awkward today because when I got on the bus this morning, I did not realize that I didn't have any tokens left. I didn't have any cash in my wallet either, except $1.75. The bus was moving and I feel like an idiot. A women sitting beside me offered me $2.00. I didn't accept the money but thanked her for her kindness. So what did I do?
I borrowed a token from a lady whom I met on the bus a month ago. I had paid for her ride once before and now she repaid me with the same kindness. The world is not doom afterall ! There are those who care and willing to give. A couple of days ago, I lent $60 to a complete stranger because he looked really distressed. There is a low possibility that he would return the money, but who knows; he may be an honest person afterall.
Who can I trust? Based on Case to Case scenario.
I met 2 UofT students today while riding the rocket. They are in Life Science and Electrical Engineering. They seemed to be really friendly people. I had a good chat with them.
