End of Lectures
Today is my first day of freedom. There are no more lectures for me to go to and there are 8 days left till my first final exam.
Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. So our last lecture of ECON 102 went overtime. As Larry Smith puts it, we got a tuition bonus. It couldn't have happened on the worst day. I respect all that he had taught me and so stayed till the end and give him my applause. So we had 10 minutes to get to Timeless. Karen and I rushed to Raymond's car, ready to leave the parking lot. Tiffany and Ville were delayed for around 15 minutes but she got one big surprise from us 22 friends. We talked over bubble tea and snacks under the half moon while the photographers were going around taking pictures of the event. I can't imagine a better day and atmosphere for her party. As the party neared the end of the first hour, Derek and Tina had to leave. So I brought out the Winnie the Pooh cake that I purchased for her. I could almost see the tears in her already dreary eyes when I started singing Happy Birthday. I felt so good yesterday that everything was a success.
The next event was clubbing at Louis. We walked across the street but found out that they were packed with people. Everyone had to get a ticket and wait in Fiasco's until their numbers were called. We hung out there for around an hour before finally going in. Although I didn't have many drinks, I had the best time in my life.
