No more Calls
Last weekend, like any other weekend, I deliver goods our company manufactures to our customers. My brother was sitting beside me when he told me what had happened to my cell phone. For those who don't know, I don't carry my cell phone with me during the mornings because I use the one my company gives me at work. So I leave my phone behind so that my family could use it for business purposes. I was informed that my phone had slipped out of his pocket while he was paintballing!
Inside, I was really angry, annoyed and by no means in a smiling mood. I couldn't believe that he could be so irresponsible. OK, maybe he could be clumsy at times, but this is the first time he had lost something of mine. In a calm voice, I asked him to give me the whole story. Thinking about it as an accident made me feel better but my brother has got a lot to learn. I've been trying to help him for years but progress had been slow since I don't really see him very often.
