1 Hour to go till I got off work !! That was what I was thinking before what had unexpectedly happened. It's now 7:31 and I'm still here. The GO Trains are not running and the TTC is out of service. What to do?
As I ponder more about how I can possibly get home, I'm surrounded by all my co-workers, standing around and waiting to see what happens. Some of the directors are just 5 feet away from me on a conference call with the rest of the world, in a serious discussion on where the workers are going tomorrow. Are half the employees going to the recovery site? Am I coming to work tomorrow?
I guess I won't be doing my job shadowing tomorrow on the Swaps Desks. I was looking forward to this since the operating committee approved the idea.
