Don't remember when..

I don't really remember the last time that I posted an entry on my blog, but I think it was sometime at the beginning of the term.

It was only 3 days ago since the Business and Investment Club presented Larry Smith at his seminar titled "Impressing Employers: How to find their Hot Buttons" . It was one event to be remembered because the crowds were huge, almost every inch of available space on the ground was taken, extending towards the entrance.

I think I was very lucky because it was Thursday afternoon when I had my cast taken off. A taxi was called and I was driven to Grand River Hospital, downtown Kitchener. I took the elevator down towards the fracture clinic and I was told to take a seat. It wasn't long before a nurse served me and directed me to a small room on the other side of the building. I sat down on one of the beds and waited for one of the doctors to see me. He took out something that looked like a minature saw that could cut my leg in half. To my surprise, the saw didn't cut skin, as he demonstrated by placing the saw over his hand. That was a relief !! The cast was taken away, and I'm happily walking home.

I think I was very lucky because if I wasn't able to take my cast off that afternoon, then I would be using crutches to walk around at the presentation. It isn't a pretty sight because I normally make a scene. That was also the reason why I didn't go to any of the dances this term sofar.
