Last minute Shopping

So yesterday was the day I was supposed to go to the Eaton centre with one of my friends. It was actually planned a couple of days in advance. So in the afternoon, I called her up and to my surprise, she wasn't home. My day was going to be a total disaster because I wasn't going to go there and shop alone and I havn't done any of my Christmas shopping yet. I went out for lunch with my family and called up a few friends to see if they were available. Some of them would have been if I asked them earlier. I got hold of a couple of friends, one of them was already shopping at the eaton centre and the other was shopping in another mall. The two were supposed to meet me when I got there. I also called up another friend who took the subway with me there. If it wasn't for her, I would be walking around by myself.

At the eaton centre, it was swarming with last minute people, including me of course. There were many items on sale and great deals ranging from baked goods to clothing to the latest technology. I didn't get to walk through all those stores that I wanted given the time constraints to get back home in time for dinner.

At the end of the day, I ended up buying an eddie bauer sweater for my brother and some christmas cards.

I was kinda annoyed with the fact that I was stood up. That's the trait in a girl that I don't really like. I mean, if you tell someone something, you should really do what you say. At least she could have given me a call to say that she can't make it so that I can change my plans.
