Skiing

"Ski at your own risk" signs are found all over ski resorts but who ever takes them seriously? Normally I just go to a mountain, have fun and return home for a good sleep. Recently, cold air swept through Ontario upon the arrival of Spring. The weather once undesirable for the slopes has again became ideal. I remember a friend asking me to go skiing a few weeks ago, but the trip ended up being cancelled. I guess I wasn't that much disappointed because I did go this year. However, I am deeply saddened that such tragedy could fall upon someone whom I know. It was only last week, that my friend was able to move around with such active passion. But now, like a vegetable, he can barely move.
It may seem amusing that someone crashed into a tree, but if it happens to someone you know, would you still be laughing? In memory of this, I send him my regards and God's grace.
