Interviews
My first interview this term was with Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan. It didn't go as well as I planned because I was really looking forward to this interview yesterday night. Rather than studying, I spent like 2 hours researching the company, looking on their website, I found out what kind of investment strategies they were employing, their returns for different assets mix, their ability to use derivative contracts... Basically, I found out everything that I could possibly find out and summarized it into a word document that I can PDF and Sync it into my palm. I was so disappointed because I felt like I was asked to leave after 35 min of a 1 hour interview. I was disappointed by the fact that they didn't ask me all the questions that I plan on answering, and I wasn't given the chance to cover all the things to market myself the way that I wanted to.
Well, there goes my first interview. Coming up tomorrow are back to back interviews with TD and Microsoft. I pray these interviews will be better.
